This past weekend Supercross circus unraveled it's tents in Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona where nothing short of a mad dash to the checker was expected. After last weekend's standing upsets, the lead dogs were ready to reclaim their usual spots on the podium. Reed and Stewart were thirsty for victory after handing the win over to underclassmen, Josh Grant. Throughout qualifying Stewart and Reed battled for the fastest time which was ultimately attained by James Stewart.

I thought this week I'd take a different approach to the Intern Report, so we're going to do a quick photo tour of what I saw throughout the weekend.

Chase Field Stadium was host to a full day of events. Jagermeister organized a pre-race concert in the pits, and fans enjoyed getting autographs from their favorite pros.

Long lines formed outside of the L&M Yamaha rig where some of Stewart's most adamant fans attempted to get a glimpse and maybe a signature from their favorite rider.

Stewart however was not the only rider to draw a crowd. Like a yellow beehive of activity, the Rockstar Makita Suzuki hauler buzzed with activity. Reed could barely reach his hauler without hearing requests from his adoring fans.

Even Jason Lawrence made time to sign a few autographs.

Racing got underway and as 46,566 fans packed the stadium, the tension started to rise. The lites class hit the track and Ryan Dungey moved into the first place position to which he held for most of the race. Closely trailing him was Justin Brayton on the KTM. Interestingly enough, a new message adorned his well, see for yourself.

A picture is worth 1,000 words.

In the premiere class, number 33 Josh Grant took the holeshot. Within the first lap Stewart gained the lead and later Reed moved into second, with Grant in third. The real battle transpired for the fourth place position which eventually was deservingly gained by Tedesco.

Despite taking a redeemable second, Reed wore an ear to ear smile after the race.

Make sure to check back next week for my Intern Report from A2!
