OK, I admit it, I went out to StarWest Monday morning in hopes of getting some photos and video of Grant Langston.  My buddy and amazing photog Carlos Aguirre goes out there every Monday and always seems to run into a lot of factory guys, so I decided to charge out there at the last minute.

I did not run across any of the big boys, but there were quite a few privateer guys whom are probably more fun to watch, and those guys could use more press anyway right? Carlos Gonzalez on his #706 Fire/PoliceMX/Rockwell KTM was putting in some hard laps, and you may or may not remember his bike as it graced the pictorial with our Motocross.com Girl Of The Month Mercedes.  He had never seen any of the photos of his bike with Mercedes yet, so when I showed him you should have seen the smile on his face!  Riding along with him was his teammate #252 Justin Keeney who enjoyed the shots of Mercedes equally.

The rider who really impressed me today was #144 Alex Martin on his Ti Lubricants Honda.  He was killing it!  I don’t think he has been doing anything huge in SX, but come Outdoors he just may be one of the guys to watch out for, he really cooks through the motocross sections of the track.
