Who are you? And what do you do?
The name is Blake Dungey! I'm 14, and the owner and designer of one of the sickest action sports clothing companies in the biz!

Ok, you forgot the part about having an older brother who is the West Coast SX Lites Champion. Some guy named Ryan?
Who's he (laughs)?

I hear you're pretty fast too. Got any am. titles?
You heard right! I do have some titles. Not gonna lie, it has been a while but when 2010 rolls around look out for the number 354! In 04 or 03 I got screwed outta one. Then the year after that I was winning my 1st moto by 13 seconds and my bike locked up. I ended up gettin 3rd that year which was a pretty gnarly come back.

Look for Blake at an amateur race in the near future.

Not bad man, not bad. So do you do a lot of traveling with your brother?
I go to most of the races but you gotta make time for your friends and the ladies. You should know that (laughs).

For sure dude! I've seen the talent lined up at the big rig...
No doubt. Ryan is too busy at the races so I gotta give him a hand in that department.

So who's got the best game in your family?
Me by FAR. They ain't got nothing on me. If your good like me, the chicks come to you (laughs).

That's impressive for a guy who can't even legally drive.
I do get my permit next week though so I'm stoked on that.

Nice! Are your parent's gonna swoop you up a new ride or what?
I'll probably just take one of Ryan's Toyota Tundra's.

So tell us about this clothing/design thing you've got going on.
Lets start with the clothing co. Its called ASTRATTO (Pronounced A-straw-toe) and it is an action sports clothing company. I have been trying to start my own clothing biz for about 3 years now and I am making the dream become reality.

I really believe in it and I think it will make an impact in the action sports industry one day. I am also a designer. I design all my ASTRATTO stuff and do some work for other companies. My biggest project was designing a full clothing line for Randy Sheckler, Ryan Sheckler's dad. That was definitely an awesome experience! Scratch that, Astratto was my biggest project by far.

The goal is just to get it up and running. Once I accomplish that I will try pitching it to stores like Pac Sun, Zumies, Buckle, etc. I'll probably be taking it to the ASR trade-show next February, too.

Who are the companies you look up to and have been an influence for you?
I would have to say Volcom and Fox. I hope to be as successful as them one day.

Has your family been supportive of your headstart in the world of business?
Yes they have! They are behind me on this but they can barely see my back. What I mean by that is they are there to help me only if I need it. I have done everything you could possibly think of. I had to figure out everything by myself. I am buying almost all of my products with the money I get from designing for other people. This company is 100% Blake Dungey.

And I'm happy they made me do this on my own. They want it to benefit me in the long run.

Thanks for the time today, Blake.
Thank you!

Here's a look at a few of the designs that ASTRATTO has to offer.
