I found a copy of MXA from 2001 in an old tote bag which had Ryan Clark in it. It's been 7 years since his name was brough to my attention. Good rider, but I agree he's wasted time in progressing. Bring the new blood.

I don't know. Guys like Thomas and Clark just seem like dudes who have had years to get their crap together, but didn't. For one reason or another they've failed to become a threat. I'm with MXgirl99 and COMEGETSOME. I'd be happy to see a season that gives real good up and comers a shot, instead of dumping funds into has beens. Give Ryan Beat a bike, resources, and practice time on the private SX track. Get Robbie Marshall a flight to each east coast supercross race and have a bike there for him. Send Sean Hackley to Rynoland to work out his kinks with Ryan Hughes and set him up on a decent bike. If not we will be bored to death with Stewart and the dudes who had nothing for him the last 4 year and will have nothing for him this year. Honestly, I was thrilled when RAI-TV mentioned that Ryan Beat beat J-Law in both heat and main event. Maybe because he's worked for it without the perks. This occasion deserved more press than JT$ dragging an anchor around the SX turf for one more year.

There is no reason to think that these 2 bike aren't competitive. Bone stock, these bikes are awesome screamers. I can't understand someone buying a 450 if they're not a full blown racer. A 450 is not a playful bike. Both 2-strokes will have you flying a full day of fun. You'll also save a ton of money in maintenance. I ride a 250 but love to hop on a 125 also. For a full size rider (6' 195lbs) its a great workout to get that 125 to move like the 250. For the big rider, the YZ 125 will be the lightest thing you've ridden since your high school prom.
