Well, Mike's premature return to racing didn't go as planned. The plan was simply to finish in the points and try to minimize the losses in the long run to the championship. The result was that Mike went out for the first moto, got a great start, was a bit of a roadblock, and came together with Josh Grant. Mike went down in a heap and sat in the middle of the track looking like he was in disbelief at what had just occurred. He got back up and rode around for a couple of laps then pulled off, not to return for the rest of the evening. Color his series over, at this point.

Cruse was fast again at Lakewood, which was the site of her WMA debut last year. She made an impression then and made another one this time, going 2-4 for 2nd overall.

Vicki Golden was golden in moto two, battling with Fiolek after snagging the holeshot. Vicky ended up 3rd after Mariana Balbi made a surprise move to snag 2nd. Golden ended up 4th overall

The WMX winner? Ashley Fiolek - both motos, again. The exciting part was that she didn't get the 2nd moto holeshot and had to work past Vicki Golden, who was on Trey Canard's Geico Powersports CRF250R.
