Russell straightens out, while the pack bunches up to prepare for the 2nd turn. GNCC races feature a series of turns right after turn one that result in multiple "first turns" to capture a lot of great action, and which frequently end up with crashes and lead changes.

Mr. Everything Mike Brown suffered a miserable start and was forced to move through a dust-filled pack to get all the way up to 4th at the end of 3 hours. Brownie looked awesome all day and, after doing the Daytona Supercross this weekend, is thinking of doing the 2nd GNCC round the next day in Georgia.
