Talk about hitting yourself with a bat.I went down to Long Beach Yamaha to buy my first 80 and I got a MX 80. I was so happy, I had dreamed about this bike for as long as I could remember. I had gone back a few days later to pick up something and what was sitting on the show room floor, that's right the first YZ80 ever. I was crushed, the Bike was awesome. I never looked at my MX the same! So two years later I finally got my YZ80C, laid down shocks, 3.5 inches of travel I was stoked. Well we all know what happened next, the YZ80D came out the next year just like the picture. Monoshock, plastic tank,5 speed. It seems like that pattern has followed me since. It is not that bad I got a YZ1000D the same year! Those pictures sure bring back some Memories!
