That Barcia kid is the subject of several wallpapers, so get used to it. Super-fast and always hard charging, he's got a style that makes you want to go ride.

Fox busted out the stops at Unadilla for the retro-day theme, and IT wore gear in honor of The Bomber, Mark Barnett, one of Fox's all-time greatest riders.

The new 250 National Motocross Champion was also on the Fox retro team at Unadilla. His butt honored the O'Show, if we recall correctly.

A cool shot from Round 2 of the season at Hangtown. Pinned.

The old man in his castle - Southwick. This shot is by AMA Pro rider Willy Browning, using my camera, during the nice and dry Friday afternoon "media day" practice session.

Dasi Mudflaps didn't have much of a season, and what's going on with him is anyone's guess, but you gotta give him credit for that moto win at Budds Creek. This shot was a mistake, the shutter was way too slow and honestly I don't know what the hell I was thinking, but the magic of shooting raw files came through on this one...

Reedy was all smiles after his second moto at Budds Creek, and this is how I snagged the feeling. In all honesty, I was stuck in a tight section with a 300mm lens and couldn't get any further back. Plus, I was setup to not shoot with flash and then caught someone else's out of sheer luck. The pic was blown out so bad I had to turn it black and white so his face didn't end up all pink and blown out. In other words, this wallpaper was a mistake, too.

It may not look like it, but I was very close to the track on this shot and it made me really nervous to shoot this. It would've looked boring if I'd had a super fast shutter, so I decided to back her down a bit and pan with Reedy as he blew by. I think it worked.

One of my all-time favorite riders to shoot is Metcalfe. The dude's always charging and always looks fast. This is from Washougal.

#2 in the premier class this season, Shorty isn't the most photogenic guy out there. He's also not the least, and I just love pics where both wheels are very temporarily off the ground, so here's this one. Washougal.

Shorty, this time jumping the uphill infield triple-triple. This is a good example of how slowing the shutter down a bit (1/320) can make the rider pop out of a busy background by blurring it a bit. Steel City.

Grant's a favorite of mine, just wish he'd been around more this summer.

Tickle was fast all summer and managed several top 5's. The most underrated guy in the 250 class, I'd imagine.

Blose was the lucky subject of my attempting to shoot the 2010 Troy Lee Designs gear. I think this one worked, and it ran as a two-page ad in several magazines worldwide.

Blose again, this time at Hangtown. The TLD folks loved this shot, and I suppose it's a beauty, but I think I could've gotten a hundred just like it in the same spot.
