Cooper Webb is back riding! Racing is TBD.

Cleared by the doctors, Cooper Webb is all smiles the first day back on his bike! Thumb feeling good, Webb plans to take it easy the first few weeks to see where he's at towards the end of the outdoor season.

About a month after thumb surgery, Cooper Webb is back on his bike. The Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing rider had been managing a left thumb injury during the latter part of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. He said he would need surgery to repair torn ligaments before the finale. Yesterday morning, he shared a photo on X with the caption: "G’ morning."

Webb revealed that he injured his thumb during the heat race at the Birmingham Supercross on March 9 and aggravated it further at the Philadelphia Supercross on April 27. Despite the injury, he continued to compete until the final race in Utah. He secured a podium finish at Birmingham and five more in the last eight rounds, including victories in Seattle and Foxborough.

While Webb's return to racing has not been confirmed, he hinted at the possibility of competing in the final rounds of Pro Motocross during a recent appearance on DMXS Radio.

In the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), Webb currently holds seventh place through the 21st round.

The two-time 450SX Champion also provided additional updates on Instagram.
