Stark Future Joins Red Line Oil Arenacross Series with Revolutionary Stark Varg Electric Motorcycle
October 2024 – The Red Line Oil Arenacross Series is set to make history by welcoming Stark Future and its cutting-edge Stark Varg electric motorcycle to the track. This groundbreaking entry will compete in the newly established Open e-Moto Class, with the Stark Varg's power output limited to an impressive 60 horsepower.
The Stark Varg, which shook the motocross world earlier this year, made headlines at the final round of the British Arenacross Championship on February 24, 2024, at London's iconic Wembley Arena. In a historic victory, British rider Jack Brunell, representing the Stark Future Racing team, claimed the championship title while going head-to-head with a field of combustion-powered motorcycles. This marked the first time an electric bike dominated a major Arenacross event, solidifying the Stark Varg as a game-changer in the sport.
Stark Future’s journey with TRISTAR MX began earlier this year when TRISTAR MX became the first organization to receive AMA approval to run the Stark Varg alongside gas motorcycles during the Big Hill Jam event. Although the Open e-Moto Class is exclusively for electric bikes, this approval represents a huge step forward for the integration of electric power in competitive motocross.
Fans will get their first chance to see the Stark Varg in action when the Red Line Oil Arenacross Series kicks off next weekend in Tunica, Mississippi, on October 25-26, 2024. The Open e-Moto Class promises to be a thrilling showcase of electric vs. gas, highlighting the future of motocross as the Stark Varg continues to push the limits of what’s possible on the track.
