Yamaha: Pierce Brown Signs with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing

After a career-first win for Pierce Brown, he has signed with Yamaha Star Racing for a one-year deal ahead of 2025.

Pierce Brown's move to Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has been rumored for some time, and today, we have the official announcement. Brown has been with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas team since the start of his professional career in 2021.

Brown won the 250 SMX World Championship in Las Vegas, which stamped his career-first win

This signing will be a one-year deal for the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship season, and it will be Brown's first ride on a YZ250F.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing adds Pierce Brown to their potent 250 SMX World Championship lineup

MARIETTA, Ga. – October 10, 2024 – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Pierce Brown to their powerhouse 250 team for the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship season.

Brown is eager to make his racing debut with the team next year in Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross, and the SMX World Championship Finals. The 22-year-old from Sandy, Utah, has shown strength, finishing third in the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship and recently scored his first SMX World Championship 250SMX victory at the season finale in Las Vegas. Riding that momentum, Brown looks to battle for the title aboard the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing YZ250F in 2025.
